From forest to sawn timber

Hans Hahn and his purchasing team select logs from the best growing areas in the world. On the basis of our long-term experience we obtain quality wood at special auctions. This is evidence of real knowledge.

The logs are taken to the veneer and sawmill where production is supervised by Hans Hahn on the basis of continuous quality control.

The standard thicknesses are 27 mm, 36 mm, 45 mm, 52 mm and 65 mm. Of course we are also offering special thicknesses on demand to our customers.

Storage, air drying then kiln drying:

Sawn timber of any length and thicknesses is stored on our timber plateau on an area of 10.000 sqm before being kiln-dried. After Air drying the timber is going to be kiln dried.
