We are pleased to be able to offer you FSC-certified veneer and sawn timber from now on! Thus, worldwide sustainable ecologic forest management is guaranteed. The FSC-certified wood exclusively originates from responsibly farmed forests. We feel strongly about sustainability as we think of the future. We hope that we have given you and your customers a safe and good feeling in handling wood in this way.

Chain of Custody (product chain certification)

FSC-certified products pass through several stages from the forest to the end user and during this they also pass through various ownership relationships. This chain, the Chain of Custody (COC), can vary in length. It is decisive that all owners within the product chain are COC-certified. By means of the product chain certification the user is guaranteed that wooden products with a FSC certification actually originate from a certified and responsibly forested forestry enterprise. Important elements of the test are the proof of the wood’s origin, quantity plausibility and the guarantee that the certified wood is not mixed up inadmissibly with uncertified wood. FSC wood is therefore always and clearly identifiable at each processing level and stage of distribution.

Beside the FSC-certified types of wood we also offer wood originating from PEFC-certified forests. This means that by submitting a statement of commitment the forest owner undertakes to perform forest management according to the standards of PEFC Deutschland e.V. and offer wood originating from certified sustainable forest management.

Furthermore, our veneers are awarded the veneer seal – a warranty for real wood. The veneer seal has a clear statement: real wood, finest veneer. "
